All About Tesla Pickup Truck (Cybertruck)

All About Tesla Pickup Trucks

Tesla really surprised us when it unveiled the all-electric Semi truck. And while the full-sized Semi with its 500 miles of range is impressive enough, what has caught our attention is what might be coming next. Namely, a Tesla pickup truck.

What’s so interesting about that?

Well, nobody seems to know for sure whether or not Tesla will actually offer an electric pickup truck. But given Musk’s penchant for breaking industry conventions and offering something new—read on.

Elon Musk loves pickup trucks

The fact that Elon Musk is such an avid fan of pickup is also another reason why there is so much hype surrounding this subject. Musk has said on many occasions that he’s all about them, including the ones made by Tesla.

But why does Musk like pickup trucks so much? It could be because of his childhood days growing up in South Africa. Or maybe it’s just because they are awesome! But more likely than not, it is due to their usefulness as a work vehicle instead of something flashy like an expensive sedan or sports car (which he also owns).

Add to that the fact that our society uses pickups for work purposes pretty frequently and you can see why there might be some truth behind this rumor.

When will the Tesla Cybertruck go on sale?

Musk unveiled Tesla Cybertruck in late 2019. But after we got a glimpse of the vehicle, most of us are wondering when the pickup truck will actually go on sale. Well, according to Musk it could be in 2021. But it’s already 2022 now.

Elon Musk is a busy man, and even he hasn’t been able to start this project yet. But what we do know is that it will be a while before we get our hands on something like a Tesla pickup truck.

He also said that production would either start at the Fremont factory or GigaFactory 1 because both facilities are “bursting at seams.”

So we’ll have to wait and watch.

Conclusion:

Would you buy a Tesla Cybertruck? If yes, what are your expectations? Would you buy it if it falls short of your expectations? If you are into buying pickup trucks, you can definitely try Tesla once it is out as it looks cool and also saves the environment.
